Amal Thommil completed his Bachelor’s in Bioengineering from University of California, Los Angeles and is currently an Associate at DeciBio Consulting. He leads the monthly liquid biopsy newsletter and follows the minimal residual disease (MRD) space closely, especially in solid tumors. He has worked on multiple projects guiding providers on clinical use cases for MRD / monitoring as well as strategy on developing a competitive MRD assay, and has led over 100 interviews with stakeholders dicussing minimal residual disease.
